Description Rose moyesii 'Geranium' is a vigorous, healthy shrub rose, with impressive summer flowering and wildlife appeal.Flowering once from late spring to midsummer each year, with long arching stems lined with single, five-petalled flowers of the most vivid crimson-red. The petals have a slightly waxy sheen, catching the light beautifully, while the pale stamens gleam at the centre of each 6cm bloom.After the flowers fade, large, bottle-shaped hips ripen to a deep glossy red, bringing colour to the autumn and winter garden, and are a valuable food source for hungry birds.Reaching around 2.5m tall, 'Geranium' forms a naturally arching shrub that can also be trained as a climber. It's ideal for the back of a border, along a fence, or grown as a standalone specimen where its long stems can arch freely. The foliage is a lovely fresh green, setting off the flowers and hips to perfection.Plus, this variety holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, and is recognised as an RHS 'Plant for Pollinators'.
