It has a very fast growth rate and does not need much watering, as it stores water in its leaves. It is, perhaps, the most durable indoor plant. Its flowers are white and small and are almost unnoticed. It requires bright places to grow quickly. It lives also in shady places but it grows slower. Direct sunlight can cause burns, especially in summer. Like all indoor plants, we must keep it away from heat sources and cold air streams.
